Before Mega Milieu was finished, it was an abandoned army base that had become a ghetto. It was an area that was filled with a great deal of poverty and unemployment. However, the area went through a great deal of gentrification which ended the uneven development of the former Fort McPherson. Nowadays the area is one of even development as there are no areas of strictly poverty. This has become the fact due to a great deal of filtering and other means of gentrification.
